The State Chairperson of NANNM CRSC; Comrade Nurse Josephine Ikpeme Bassey Joined the Department of Nursing and NANNM Unit of University of Calabar Teaching Hospital Calabar in celebrating retired Nurses who had served humanity meritoriously and undoubtedly with great zeal, determination, verve and intergrity.
The Chairperson who held brief for the Chairman of the occassion Hon Joe Obi Bisong DG Caterpillar Movement and Guest of Honour congratulated these great colleagues who through dint of hard work and dedication put the Nursing profession in the path of progress while encouraging them to take up other meaningful adventures in life. She also commended the efforts of past HOD's and past excos of NANNM UCTH Branch for all their inputs for making our profession better and prayed God to bless them immensely.
The host Unit NANNM Chairman Comr. Elder (Mrs) Eno Bassey Okon in her speech lauded the past excos of NANNM UCTH for their commitment and solidarity and most especially for making the platform which she is leveraging on right now possible and wished them God's choicest blessings and guidance in their future adventures.
The occassion had in attendance the CMD UCTH Prof Ikpeme Ikpeme, NANNM Chairman FNPH Cal Comr. Nrs Monday Anake, retired directors and deputy directors of Nursing, past NANNM excos and a host of other dignitaries. The event also witnessed a keynote address presented by Prof Olaide Edet of Department of Nursing Science Unical, Citation of retirees, award presentation and cutting of NANNM cake.
